Fahed is a first class Civil Engineering (Hons) graduate from London South Bank University. He has been awarded the departmental prize of ‘the best undergraduate student in civil engineering Level 5 BEng’. Just before joining the BEng (Hons) program, He had taken a diploma course in Mechanical Engineering from Uxbridge College which he completed in June 2010 with Distinction Grade. After graduation He worked for more than a year as a Sacffold Design Engineer.

Fahed's research is focussed on internal instability in embankment dams under complex stress states. He will examine the role of complex stress states on internal erosion and settlement behaviour of embankment dams constructed of internally unstable materials.
